Setting up of M15 Gas Turbine Test Facility
The entire facility was designed, developed and constructed on turnkey basis. The scope included creation of 17 mtr. high building for the Gas Turbine Test Bed and all the associated facilities which includes underground fuel storage tanks, firefighting system, fire surveillance system and controls. This facility also has captive power generation plant and HP Air compressor. M/s UDPL has first time designed, developed and integrated indigenous control system for the Gas Turbine. This infrastructure along with test facility was successfully commissioned and handed over to INS Eksila in 2014.
Replacement of Floating Caisson Gates, Sliding Caisson Gates and Mitre Gates for various Docks in Indian Navy, Mumbai.
M/s UDPL., has been awarded this project by DODY which includes the design, fabrication of nine gates with commutative weight around 3600Ton, state of the art Hydraulic system, Heavy lift Power pack system, Control panel required civil work at dock. The designs of all the gates are approved by IRS and vetted with IIT Chennai. The work order value is Rs 138,00,00,000/- and the project is presently under execution.
The Surya Dry Dock Caisson Gate at ND(V)
the caisson gate for Surya Dry Dock of ND(V) was also designed and fabricated by M/s UDPL. The overall dimensions were length 23.80 mtr, breadth 5mtr, width 15.3 mtrs and Floating draft 7.51 mtr with Displacement of 1054 tons. The work was completed in Feb 2013 with the Work Order value of Rs 7,35,30,000/-.
Refit & Matsya Dock Caisson Gate
Recently when mankind was fighting against pandemic of deadly CORONA virus M/s. UDPL has completed major repair / refit of MATSYA DOCK CAISSON GATE within 120Days with a project costing of approximate Rs. 7.00 Cr.
Modernization of Material Organization, Goa on “Turnkey Basis”.
The project involves state of the art Automated Storage and Retrieval System. This system is utilized for atomized storage of minimum 12000 spares, under fast moving category, of all type of aircraft spares held at Material Organization, Goa. This system is integrated with the Integrated Logistics Management System. The scope of work includes civil works Hard Standing with Galvanism Sheet Supporting by Metallic Trusses. The work order for a value of Rs. 52,14,42,000/- has been awarded by DAPP to UDPL.
Supply of Titanium/NAB/SS Valves
UDPL has designed, manufactured and supplied more than 1000 valves made of titanium, NAB (nickel, aluminium, and bronze), SS, CA104 and ferrous materials, manual as well as pilot operated to DMDE. These valves were primarily of Russian origin. We have re-engineered the valves and made them indigenously and supplied for the nuclear underwater vessel. The works value crossing more than 100 Crores. Recently the firm has been awarded work for NAB and Titanium 34 Types of valves.
Design, Fabrication and Installation of a PEB (Pre Engineered Building Structure) Hangar at INS DEGA, Visakhapatnam.
The Hangar execution work included civil works, pile foundation and office accommodation of more than 30,000sq.ft, car parking, installation of captive power diesel generation, HPA compressor and other facilities. The hangar is of size length 65m, width 50m and height 14m primarily made for helicopter for naval applications and also their maintenance.
Provision of Married Accommodation for NAD NAI & DSC at NAD Bheemunipatnam
The project envisaged construction of 45 no. of quarters for Officers, JCOs and other ranks. The facility also included roads, overhead tank, water supply, internal and external electrification and playground. This was a turnkey project and the same has been completed successfully.
Repair of Tanks, Fan rooms and WET Compartments Onboard INS Jalashwa.
UDPL has undertaken the extensive steel renewal above water as well as underwater including fabrication and structural renewal. The firm also undertook the seawater piping system of more than 12 kms and repair of 2200 in number Valves with a combined order value of Rs 14 Cr.
Installation Pressure Testing and Flushing of Pipes for P-75 Project.
M/s.UDPL is undertaking the Installation, Pressure Testing and Flushing through of Pipes for P-75 Project at Mazagon Dock Limited, Mumbai for a total order value of Rs. 32.28 Crores.
Fabrication of Pipes at SBC(V):
M/s.UDPL is associated with the Fabrication of Pipes/ Spools for various systems onboard Submarine at SBC(V) for a total order value of Rs. 35 crores. The said job is under process and expected to continue beyond year 2023.
Capital and Maintenance Dredging
M/s UDPL has so far successfully completed the dredging of more than 14 Lakh cubic meters within the span of 3 years. The organization has performed at most challenging situations during the COVID-19 situations. The overall dredging projects handled till now are more than 100 Crores.
Grab Dredgers
M/s UDPL has designed and fabricated 02 Numbers of Barge mounted Grab Dredgers of sizes 37.85 Mtrs (L) x 08.32 Mtrs (B) x 02.60 Mtrs (D). The gross tonnage is 279, net tonnage is 086 and the dead weight (Mt) is 281.90 and is mounted with the crane capacity of 100Ton each.
Hopper Dredger
