The complete facility was constructed on a turnkey basis, encompassing various elements. This included erecting a 17-meter-high building for the Gas Turbine Test Bed, along with all associated facilities such as underground fuel storage tanks, firefighting systems, fire surveillance systems, and controls. Additionally, the facility features a captive power generation plant and an HP Air compressor. M/s UDPL achieved a significant milestone by designing, developing, and integrating an indigenous control system for the Gas Turbine, a first for them. Following successful commissioning, the infrastructure, along with the test facility, was handed over to INS Eksila in 2014.
